More Work

A series of smaller scale experiments developed alongside larger installations, focused on testing interaction, generative graphics, sound, and visual storytelling through TouchDesigner.

TouchDesigner Generative Systems Visual Experiments

Project 01

Sun Glow, 2026, 1280px × 720px, TouchDesigner

Sunglow was created during the early development of Flutter while experimenting with generative visuals for projection mapping onto miniature 3D printed butterflies. Using a custom ramp component in TouchDesigner, I explored different color palettes and soft glowing particle effects to test how light, color, and movement translated onto physical objects.

Project 02

Seaweed, 2026, 720px × 720px, TouchDesigner

Warped, 2026, 720px × 720px, TouchDesigner

Seaweed and Warped are experimental TouchDesigner patches created while exploring projection mapped visuals for Flutter. Both pieces focus on layered movement, distortion, and flowing generative forms. Although they were ultimately too visually complex for Flutter’s final direction, they helped shape the project’s evolving visual language.

Project 03

Woah...Waves!, 2026, 1280px × 720px, TouchDesigner

Woah...Waves! was my first hand tracking experiment using MediaPipe in TouchDesigner and became an early study for Coloring. The piece combines responsive graphics, layered video textures, and ambient wave and bird sounds controlled through hand gestures. Pinching manipulates the audio cutoff and visuals, while hand rotation switches between different graphics and sound environments.

Project 04

Bricks, 2026, 1280px × , TouchDesigner

Bricks expands on the interaction systems explored in Woah...Waves! while focusing entirely on visuals generated within TouchDesigner. Using hand tracking and gesture controls, the piece experiments with scale, rotation, block movement, and audio interaction to create a more structured and geometric visual environment.
